Doug MacKelcan successfully defended the defense verdict obtained for a national healthcare staffing company in wrongful death case. Plaintiff/Appellant argued the Court incorrectly charged the jury on the duty owed by medical providers to third-party non-patients. After the Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court, the Supreme Court of South Carolina refused to Grant Plaintiff/Appellant’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari, ending the case.
