On January 8, 2020, Clinton Fletcher obtained a directed verdict on behalf of a major auto manufacturer in a bench trial in Cherokee County, Georgia.  Plaintiff brought breach of warranty claims against the manufacturer, sounding in both express and implied warranties.  However, upon cross-examination, Plaintiff admitted that he failed to adhere to the express language of the owner’s manual regarding periodic maintenance, thereby voiding the limited warranty that accompanied the vehicle.  Clinton Fletcher has over fifteen years of experience representing auto manufacturers, as well as their affiliated lenders, in claims for breach of warranty, unfair business practices, and violations of consumer protection statutes, among other claims.
