Tawny Mack Elected to the Board of NAWIC–Atlanta Chapter
Tawny Mack was recently elected to the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She will be inducted at the NAWIC Board Installation Gala on September 19, 2019.
In 1953, knowing that women were outnumbered in the construction industry, sixteen (16) Fort Worth women created the National Association of Women in Construction. They organized to create a network of support that eventually became so successful that a national charter was formed in 1955. Today, this organization provides it’s members with opportunities for education, training, public service, professional development and more. NAWIC’s core purpose is to enhance the success of women in the construction industry.
