Erin E. Gomez

Erin Gomez is an associate in the Chattanooga, Tennessee office of Copeland, Stair, Kingma & Lovell. As a member of the construction litigation practice group, Erin represents contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in construction related disputes, but primarily focuses on the representation of design professionals. She counsels Architects, Engineers and other professionals in a variety of design-development and construction-phase disputes, including actions alleging property damages, contract damages, and catastrophic personal injury. Erin is also a member of the CSKL general liability practice group and has proficient insurance coverage dispute experience.
Erin joined CSKL after employment at another respectable defense firm in the Chattanooga-area, time in the Office of the Solicitor, U.S. Department of Labor and the Office of Immigration Review, U.S. Department of Justice.
Erin earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in International Studies and Spanish from Maryville College. She went on to attend Emory University School of Law, where she was top 15% of her class, the recipient of a Dean’s Award and collaborated on the Emory International Law Review. Erin is a recipient of 2021 Best Lawyers®; Ones To Watch recognition for Litigation – Labor and Employment; Professional Malpractice Law in Chattanooga, TN.
In her spare time Erin likes to go to the lake with her family, hike with her dog Gordo and participate in her neighborhood book club.
