Barbara Lacerda Wojtysiak
Associate / Charleston
Barbara is an associate in the Charleston offices of CSKL. Barbara’s Construction Litigation practice is primarily focused on the representation of architects and engineers in a variety of design and construction-phase disputes, including actions alleging property damages, contract damages, and catastrophic personal injury. Barbara also counsels Design Professionals on best practices for contract formation and administration.
Barbara earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she also minored in International Relations, Global Studies and Pre-Law. Barbara joined Copeland Stair straight out of Charleston School of Law, where she earned her J.D., summa cum laude. In addition to clerking for CSKL during law school, Barbara completed a judicial internship with Honorable Richard M. Gergel, U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Barbara is a eight-time CALI award winner, she served as Senior Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review and was honored as a Presidential Honors Program participant.
